Steliam Resources Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in all parts of our business and in our supply chains. We recognise that mining and construction supply chains can carry elevated human-rights risks, and we do not tolerate exploitation of any kind.
Steliam Resources is a Ghanaian mining company headquartered in Accra, Ghana. We operate gold and critical mineral projects in Ghana and hold interests in exploration assets across West Africa. Our supply chains include contractors, equipment and fuel suppliers, logistics providers, construction firms, and third-party service providers operating in Ghana and the wider region.
We maintain policies and procedures that set out the standards we expect from our employees, contractors, and suppliers. These cover recruitment, procurement, contractor management, and grievance handling. We carry out risk-based due diligence on new suppliers and review high-risk contracts and partnerships on a periodic basis.
We identify and assess the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains as part of our broader sustainability and compliance programme. Higher-risk areas are prioritised for enhanced review, and we work with suppliers to improve practices where gaps are found.
Relevant employees and managers receive training on modern slavery risks, warning signs, and reporting procedures. We also communicate our expectations to contractors and suppliers as part of onboarding and contract management.
Anyone who has a concern about modern slavery, human trafficking, or related exploitation can report it through our whistleblower hotline or by contacting our ethics team. Reports can be made in confidence and will be reviewed and investigated in accordance with our policies.
